Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Legal Team Claims Innocence Amid ‘Freak-Off’ Tapes Controversy

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team has filed a motion asserting his innocence, challenging federal prosecutors’ characterization of alleged videos as “elaborate and produced sex performances.”

In a New York court, Diddy’s lawyers argued that the tapes represent “private acts between fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship.” The defense claimed that the videos, which reportedly feature Diddy’s ex, Cassie Ventura, cannot be fully investigated unless they are produced electronically.

Herald Sun reported that Cassie Ventura is believed to be among those featured in the controversial tapes. Diddy’s attorneys stated that the videos demonstrate consent, with claims that she “thoroughly enjoyed herself” and was a willing participant in her private relationship with Combs.

However, it remains unclear how the lawyers came to the conclusion about Cassie’s consent and enjoyment, as court documents refer to the woman simply as Victim-1.

Additionally, the defense asserted that the tapes directly refuted allegations that Combs kept them as “collateral.” They argued that the videos were not found on his devices or seized from his homes, but rather were produced by Cassie herself.

Sean Combs remains incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center in New York, following his arrest in September 2023. His legal team continues to push for his innocence, asserting that the videos do not support the accusations against him.
