Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) expressed deep frustration this week after key Republican colleagues blocked her proposed amendments aimed at halting U.S. military aid to Ukraine and compelling the release of files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
In an interview on Tuesday on War Room, hosted by MAGA figure Steve Bannon, Greene didn’t hold back when asked why fellow House Republicans turned their backs on her proposals.
“Steve, it’s beyond me,” Greene said. “I cannot believe it. You know, many people voted for President Trump for the campaign promise of no more foreign wars, and the United States getting out of involvement and funding.”
Greene’s comments come after the House Rules Committee refused to allow her amendment aimed at stopping the transfer of U.S. munitions to Ukraine to move forward for a vote on the House floor. She pointed to what she believes is undue influence from more hawkish voices within the GOP.

“Lindsey Graham seems to be the voice that, unfortunately, President Trump is listening to,” Greene claimed. “Steve, I had an amendment go before the Rules Committee last night. And the Republicans on the Rules Committee voted against my amendment that would stop munitions being sent to Ukraine.”
According to Greene, these same Republicans also rejected her attempt to force Attorney General Pam Bondi to release sealed documents related to the controversial Epstein case.
“The neocons and the establishment Republican Party have literally taken back control,” she said. “And proof of it is that the same Republicans who voted against the Epstein amendment to release the information are the same Republicans on the Rules Committee that voted against allowing my amendment to have a vote on the House floor to stop munitions being sent to Ukraine.”
Greene concluded with a call to action for conservative voters and activists: “I’m absolutely fed up with it. And I cannot contain it. I have to talk about it. And I urge the War Room posse, we have got to hold Republicans accountable. You’ve got to hold the GOP accountable. You also have to hold the administration accountable.”
Her remarks highlight a growing divide within the Republican Party over foreign policy and transparency issues, as populist voices clash with traditional GOP leadership.
